Well, it is long time since my last update. I am very busy. Recently, I just move my house and begin to optimation. Now everything settling up and here I am, starting to blogging again.

Lets learn from the mistakes
You still remember the incident last year when many “PARKED” publishers were fired unrespectful ¾including me, of course¾, don’t you? In the same time there are mass laid off performed by the Google Adsense that struck several friends of mine. From this event I want to discuss the dismissal, why this happened? What’s wrong?

Persevere Our Community
Now, what we will do? When I in a bad mood or sluggish, I rarely open my subscribe forum, especially may last forum, “the biggest Adsense forum in Indonesia” Adsense-id.com. From my last visit, this forum is not as good as the past. Moreover, the visitor is fewer, in the past its online members has long list. I wonder where they are now.
Such forum with large community should has more quality in content and communication, however, just find yourself, the content is not good enough. Is it could be the picture of real Indonesia? Publisher Ethic
After walking around, I get some massages, and I think posting will be great choice for intermezzo. I will make it a long one.
Publisher Ethic, is it necessary?
I just remember when few of Indonesian blogger communities faced with similar question, Are we need Blogethic? The answer was absolutely not, nevertheless, it was a good concept. It can be a framework for bloggers, but that time many of them already say no to this concept, it could not be helped.
One week ago I attend a brainstorming forum with one of the publishers in our neighbor community on this topic. Is the publisher ethics really necessary? At least, is it needed to be considered as foundation to new publisher?
Some points to be understand as followed.
1.Cheating the user?
Why this become number one point? Sure thing it is most arguable point. The matter is that many publishers performed this practice. For me it fine as long as they responsible for the consequences. But then, is it affecting other? Not directly may be, but yes it is. The quality and reputation of Indonesian blogger may be at risk. It is our right to get as much dollars as we can. But with make deceits others, is it ethical? What is mean by deceits? I can explain with an example. For instance, you make many copy of your content just for sedo without cares about its accuracy or negative doctrines. It become worse when we only sell dreams without telling how to make them realized.
2.Stealing the concept?
Making the same [stealing?] concepts. Sometime this point come into grey matters, some said it just an improvisation or modification, however many others does not agree. Then why it include in the publisher ethics? To illustrate, hypothesized that A make friend with B. A creates a profitable web site. And then B followed with the same concepts, which is A’s innovation, without telling A. What do you think of this illustration? Is it legal? Ok it might be, but is it ethical? How about uploads, the answer just the same, although it may make some of us more comfort to be done than the first illustration.
3.Stealing the materials/content?
When you retrieve public information from other webs, it is ok to republish in your own web. If this is done with the permission of the information provider, or at least by attached the sources, that legal and of course ethical. The problem is that many of us done it without any permission. What do you think?
4.Making profit on own nation loss
It cruel, isn’t it? I am shock when I read this point. It will a long explanation, however, I am sure that you all already understand this point. And I believe you have your own opinion about it.
5.Destroy the competitor?
What about this point? Is a need for us to destroy our competitors, even they are our own friends? Making a war by scorning, abusing or condemn each other, and then make our competitor banned. Is it ethical?
The five questions above are big questions to me, and I am not ready to answer right now. It is up to you. Ask yourself. They are like personal questions for each of us. Be truthful.
To save Indonesian publisher is not just about not click fraud and done some others illegal stuffs. It also about improving the Indonesian publisher, not just a crape of garbage webs that just happened meets the TOS.
